Pool Address: 7070 East Mineral Avenue, Centennial, CO 80112 Our Warm-Up Time: 6:50 – 7:20 Meet Starts at: 7:30am Theme: Retro Hippie Parking: Please observe the no parking signs in the neighborhood. Please follow all neighborhood speed limits. Visitor Seating Area: The visitor section will be set up to the right (north) on the playground/lawn area. Concessions: Foxridge concessions will be available, cash or credit card, with plenty of pancakes, sausage, and burritos for breakfast, and hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch. There will be lots of treats, too! |

"Mock Meet" Practice
Dam West Pool

End: 9:30 PM
Coach Emilie will use the 7:30am and 8:30am practices to have swimmers go through a "mock meet" using the Starter unit, false start rope and heating chairs so that they can learn what to expect at a meet. They will learn how to move through heating, what the Starter sounds like, what a "false start" sounds like and what to do when they hear it. This will be especially useful for any swimmer that has not yet been to a meet. It will also be excellent practice for relays. |

Jason Lezak Swim Clinic

8-time Olympic medalist (4 gold!) and world record holder, Jason Lezak, will be hosting a swim clinic at the Hills West pool. Participants will learn techniques on freestyle, backstroke, and starts through in-water and dry-land instruction. Plus they will hear Jason's incredible inspirational story of how he became a champion. There will also be time for photographs and pictures. Please see the attached flyer for details on the specific age groups and times. Use the "Sign up now" link here or on the flyer to sign up. Registration is $75/swimmer. Please put your FULL name in the "First Name" slot and Dam West Dolphins in the "Last Name" slot. This is a totally optional event. If you are not attending this event, please attend your regular swim practice at Dam West. |

Lone Tree Library 1005 Library Way, Lone Tree, CO 80124 The New Referee/Trainer clinics are for new MHSL Referees. Recertifying Deck and Meet Referees are welcome to attend. There are some new officiating rules that everyone needs to be aware of. We will also be working through some exercises. For example, how to set a balanced deck given the challenges for disparate knowledge levels of our MHSL Officials; or how to explain the rotation process for having 3 S&T Judges from each club on the deck this year instead of just 2 as required in previous years.
