Toni's family originally joined the DWD in 2007 and 2008. They took a break and came back in 2014. Toni took over as Parent Delegate in 2018. She has a daughter and a son on the team and a husband, Jaime, who volunteers as a Stroke & Turn Judge at every meet.
She has lots of help but oversees most aspects of the team including (but not limited to) registration, running the website, attending all League meetings, planning meets and team events, concessions, advertising, hiring coaches, all things financial and answering parents' questions.
If anyone is interested in being her "2nd in Command" please let her know!
Toni responds quickest to email and text messages.
Candace became our Volunteer Coordinator in 2018. Her daughter, Micaela, is an Assistant Coach this year. This year will be their 10th year with the Dolphins.
She is in charge of all things volunteer related from Swim Meets to fun events. She also coordinates the singing of our National Anthem for our home meets. Please contact her with any questions/problems or to volunteer!
Julia's family joined the DWD in 2014. Julia took on Head of Merchandising in 2018. She has a son and a daughter on the team. Both she and her husband, Joey, can be found volunteering as Timers or stepping in wherever they are needed at every meet.
Julia designs and orders our team T-shirts and can be contacted regarding t-shirts and team gear orders that were ordered from Swim N' Things at the Open House in April. (If you ordered directly from Swim N' Things please contact them directly.)
Alicia's family joined the DWD in 2019. She has a daughter and a son on the team. Her husband, Anthony, can be found as a Stroke & Turn Judge at nearly every meet often doing double shifts.
Alicia has agreed to be our Concessions Manager starting in 2021 so she will be checking in on the Concession Stand during Home Meets to address any problems, restock supplies, answer questions, etc.
If anyone would like to help with this position she would welcome it!
Athena's family joined the DWD in 2008. All 4 of her children swam as Dolphins. Her youngest daughter is still on the team. She and her husband, Ed, can be found helping out at every meet wherever they are needed - timing, heating, order of finish, concessions, etc.
Athena has always "unofficially" helped organize many social events such as Movie Night @ the Pool and Teen Night. For 2021, we are giving her the "official" title of Social Director although we're not yet sure what, if any, social events there will be. But she'll be ready for 2022!
If you have questions of any sort, Athena is a wonderful and friendly resource so find her and introduce yourself!
Coach Emilie joined the DWD in 2021. She grew up in the Dam West and swam as a Dolphin from 1994-2005. She also competed competitively for the Cherry Creek high school swim team in the early 2000’s. She has 2 young boys (too young for swim team just yet) and #3 on the way. We are very excited to have her as our new Head Coach! For more about Coach Emilie, check out our "Coaches" page.
Alisa's daughter, Lauren, is one of our Assistant Coaches this year. Her oldest daughter, Lindsay, swam and was also a much beloved Assistant Coach. She aged out in 2019 and is now in college. Alisa can be found taking photos at most of the meets while her husband, Todd, is either acting as a Stroke & Turn Judge, training to be a Meet Referee or filling in as the Starter.
Alisa creates a beautiful slideshow that we play at the Year-End Banquet. She is always looking for photographers to help her cover the various meets and events. If you are interested in helping her out, please contact her.
Jane's family joined the Dolphins in 2013. She has a daughter and a son on the team. Her daughter, Gabby, is a Junior Coach for the 2021 season.
In 2018 she and Candace Ellman, became our "Volunteer Coordinators." For 2021 she is taking on "Clerk of Course." The Clerk of Course manages the Heating Area and keeps it running smoothly at our home meets. If you have any questions regarding Heating or would like to help out, please contact Jane.
