Hello Dolphin Families!

Are you ready for the 2026 swim season? Your DWD Committee and parent delegates have been hard at work starting preparations for the season. We are updating the website as we get dates locked in.

One new change this season is that Division C will have 5 teams. That means there will be 4 dual meets instead of 5 which means we get a weekend off! (The off weekend is called a Bye Week.) Here is our Meet Schedule to help you plan your summer:

May 30:   Dam West @ Hills West

June 6:    Dam West @ Holly Park

June 13:  Bye week (enjoy!)

June 20:  Arapahoe Lake @ Dam West

June 27:  Canterberry @ Dam West

July 6:     Prelims @ Dam West (8 & Unders, 13-18) - Monday AM

July 8:     Prelims @ Arapahoe Lake (9-10 and 11-12) - Wednesday PM.  This will be in the EVENING starting at 5:00pm. Details TBA as we get closer to the season.

July 11:    Championships @ Hills West

Here are a few other dates that we have already set so mark your calendars!

April 19:  In-Person Registration and Team Gear Ordering Day.

May 8:    New Family Orientation (6:00pm – 6:30pm)

May 8:    Welcome Back to Swim Team Party (6:30pm – 7:30pm)

For Officials, there are a few dates set so far. More to come. This year we NEED some Stroke & Turn officials to get Deck Ref, Meet Ref and Starter trained! So, if you have at least 1 year of S&T experience, please consider doing the Officials Training. This could be a training year for you!

AND, of course, as always, we NEED more Stroke & Turn judges. As our current judges step up into the officials’ roles, we will need more volunteers to fill in the Stroke & Turn judges’ positions.

• Referee/Starter Training: April 3 or April 14 at Tallyn’s Reach Clubhouse
• Stroke & Turn Training: April 18 at Tallyn’s Reach Clubhouse

We also need a secondary person to shadow / train into the following positions so please consider if any of these are something you would like to help out with.

• Meet Manager (requires MHSL training)
• Concessions Manager
• Head Timer
• Merchandise Coordinator
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Social Director
