    6/21 Home Meet (PLEASE READ TO THE END)

    Hi Dolphins families,

    I’m back from the mountains and gearing up for tomorrow’s meet. Just a reminder that Jessica is out of town, so I’ll be flying solo.

    First and foremost, I want to thank all the families who signed up to volunteer & for those who are doing double shifts. However, we still need a 2nd shift Heating person. If you haven’t volunteered yet this season please do so. We shouldn’t have families volunteering twice in one meet.

    Here are some IMPORTANT REMINDERS: (PLEASE READ TO THE VERY END)

    If you’re part of the 1st shifts in the following groups, you must be at the pool by 6:15AM. We need you there before the meet starts!

    • 1st shift Concessions
    • Meet Check-In

    If you’re part of the Officials Volunteer group for shifts 1 and 2, please listen out for the meeting announcement. You will gather by the Announcer/DJ area (next to the bathrooms) before the meet begins.

    Heating area - Please remember to put 6 chairs around the baby pool for heating.

    Bathroom Monitor - friendly reminder to make sure all 4 bathrooms are stocked: two on the pool deck, and two in the clubhouse. You are also responsible for cleaning all 4 bathrooms after the meet.

    3rd Shift Concessions - You are responsible for cleaning of the concessions area and clubhouse, including sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors. See the Concessions Managers Nick & Clayton after the meet for guidance. 

    Although 3 people have officially signed up to help with the After Meet Pool Cleanup, the more people who can assist, the faster the process will be. Especially considering that tomorrow will be a hot day. 

    Remember, it takes a village, and we have a great one. So please lend a hand before heading home, Toni, Emilie and your fellow Dolphins family will appreciate it!

    Volunteer name tags will be with the Check-In Volunteer in front of the pool, where you can also check in your swimmers. Please grab your name tag upon arrival and check in your swimmers.

    Also, if you accidentally took a Sharpie to mark your swimmer last week, please return them to the team box or Check in Person. We had a LOT of markers and now have none.

    As always, I’m available via text 347-661-6852, if you need anything. I’ll try to station myself by the announcer area after the meet starts if you need to find me.
